Seit 26 Jahren baue ich Räume, die ich im sogenannten Haus ur auf der Unterheydener Strasse 12 begonnen habe. Hier ist Verdoppelung die Vorgehensweise: Noch einmal – gleich davor, gleich darunter, gleich darin, das, was schon da ist, oder etwas, das dort plausibel ist. Verdoppelung bestätigt bei mir das Vorhandene, nicht als Deklaration oder Hinweis, sondern als Form, in einer sehr aufwendigen Praxis. Das Vorhandene oder das potentiell Vorhandene werden nicht neu erfunden, sondern von Grund auf rekonstruiert. Die Verdoppelung des Bestehenden legitimiert die Arbeit in der einfachsten möglichen Weise. Mich interessiert dieser Leerlauf von Handlung.
